Who We Are

Barrel Aged Charities is driving awareness and research for prostate cancer through bourbon fellowship.

Leveraging our Board's extensive expertise in medical research, Barrel Aged Charities partners directly with leading researchers and institutions to advance prostate cancer research and treatment while minimizing overhead costs. Our mission extends beyond improving prostate cancer outcomes; we strive to ensure all men have access to screenings and treatment by addressing disparities in healthcare through collaborations with academic and health care experts. Your glass of bourbon not only supports groundbreaking research but also promotes health equity for all.

How it started

Barrel Aged Charities was born from the shared passions of bourbon enthusiasts who wanted to make a lasting impact beyond the glass. While savoring bourbon with friends, the founders recognized a deeper purpose: to address prostate cancer, the second most common cancer in men and a leading cause of mortality. Prostate cancer disproportionately affects men in underserved communities, and we are determined to change that through cutting-edge research and increased awareness.

Dr. Todd Heniford, Barrel Aged Charities Founder

With the passion and expertise of the Board that we have assembled, the marked generosity of those in the bourbon world who have supported Barrel Aged Charities, and the preliminary successes of the work we have already sponsored, we have a remarkable chance to influence the lives of men everywhere.”
